Pauline and Gary were married at Auchen Castle in Moffat. After the big day Pauline dropped us a line to say:
We just wanted to drop you a wee msg to say a massive THANK YOU to you all for the part you played in our wedding day, we both had the best day and it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as fun without your part! Thanks for totally understanding what we were after (and fully ignoring the terrible song requests haha!) I can’t remember seeing the dance floor empty at any point! We had so many people say to us how good the music was and how cool you guys looked with your suits on!!
Pauline and Gary looked pretty swanky themselves! Their song suggestions were full of tatseful stuff like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Al Green (and the arguably less definitively tasteful, but still titanic Journey and Foreigner) so it’s hard to think what the terrible song requests were. We did admittedly veto Elbow’s Grounds For Divorce – along with Band of Gold it’s on our Banned List for weddings. The beautiful photos below are courtesy of Karen Heyes.
