Ben and Cheryl got married at the Woodside Warehouse (run by The Wedding Collective). We have DJ’d at a couple of weddings at the Woodside Warehouse now and viewing the venue is seriously recommended. It’s kind of a blank canvas for you to project your hopes and dreams upon.
A very nice touch on the night was Uncle Dave performing (post-dinner and pre-first dance) as “Frank Sinatra“. “Frank” was superb and led to a amusing situation with photographers The Curries and ourselves preparing for the first dance – only for Uncle Dave to keep topping what sounded like his finale with an even bigger song. My Way, That’s Life, New York New York – Uncle Dave performed them all.
We knew following Uncle Dave wouldn’t be easy but we were given pretty clear direction from Ben and Cheryl on what they wanted to hear – Bowie, The Clash, Frankie Valli, old school hip hop, Motown, 60s girl groups, The Kinks, The Cure, The Smiths, 90s r n b. Cheryl said:
I can’t praise Pin Up Nights enough! Every one of our wedding guests has since commented on how good the music was. The dance floor was filled from start to finish.
Thanks very much to The Curries for the lovely photographs below.
